Pork Steak with Japanese-Style Sauce
Preparation
- Make small cuts along the fat edge to prevent curling.
- Pan-fry caribeton pork over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the pork and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic, soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar.
- Simmer briefly, then add a small amount of butter.
- Return the pork to the pan and coat it with the sauce.
- Serve with cabbage or steamed rice
